CODE 95

It is governed by Directive 2003/59 / EC, which applies to citizens of the European Union and third-country nationals working in the Member States of the European Union performing commercial transportation with D1, D1E, D, DE or C1, C1E, C, CE category vehicles.

Short course - 35 hours

If a driving license category C1, C is obtained before 10 September 2009 or D1, D is obtained before 10 September 2008. The regular driver training course is conducted once every 5 years in the range of 35 hours. Duration 4 days. The course is in the present. Without Exam. Comfortable accommodation close to the learning center. Training is in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Accommodation is included.

Long course - 140 hours

If a driving license category C1, C is obtained after 10 September 2009 or D1, D is obtained after 10 September 2008. The basic qualification course is implemented in the range of 140 hours. The exam itself consists of a written test consisting of 80 questions divided into 4 groups according to thematic areas, where the group consists of 20 questions (min. 14 correct). Comfortable accommodation close to the learning center. Training is in English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Accommodation is included. Group discounts possible!

We are happy to be the first training center in Slovakia that successfully prepared a driver to complete a course and tests in a foreign language to obtain a driver's qualification card (CODE 95).

How to proceed when obtaining a Driver Qualification Card (CODE 95):

  1. Fulfillment of the applicant’s basic prerequisites,
  2. Completion of a course at a registered training center,
  3. Completion of the course,
  4. Application for the issuance of a Certificate of Basic Qualification or regular driver training,
  5. Application for the issuance of a driver’s qualification card,
  6. Processing of applications by the district office in the regional headquarters,
  7. Delivery of the Certificate and CODE 95 card.

How do you get the card?

You get the card after completing theoretical or practical training at our driving school. As part of the course, you will go through subjects such as the detailed construction of motor vehicles, principles of safe driving, eco-driving, proper securing of loads, social legislation in transport, medical training, psychology, logistics or law.

What is CODE 95 and why do you need it?

CODE 95 or driver’s qualification card refers to professional drivers who are obliged under Act no. 280/2006 about the basic qualification and regular training of some drivers to undergo mandatory basic qualification (Long course) or regular training (short course). You do not need this course if you work in the rescue or armed forces or as a driving school instructor.

What are the administrative fees?

  • FEE for issuing card – €70
  • FEE for certificate C1, C – €7
  • FEE for certificate D1, D – €7
  • FEE for taking the exam – €70

You must bring with you to the exam:

  • confirmation of completion of the Basic Qualification course
  • confirmation of completion of the 1st aid course a photocopy of the Driver’s License and the Citizen’s License
  • confirmation of payment of the fee for issuing the Code 95 in the amount of €70 (code 798)
  • confirmation of payment of the fee for the issuance of the Long course certificate in the amount of €7 (code 797) exam fee €70 (code 799)
